Señaló que, con la denuncia sobre el presunto fraude electoral organizado por el presidente Pedro Castillo, Villaverde está hablando un tema diferente al suyo de índole político. Agregó que es posible que el empresario ni siquiera haya coordinado con su abogado para hacer dicha denuncia. En otro momento, Pérez Guadalupe, quien dio cuenta que es profesor de metodología de investigación en la Universidad del Pacífico, se refirió al caso de presunto plagio de la tesis de maestría del presidente Castillo y señaló que debe abrirse una investigación seria. También explicó el método que se debe seguir para hacer una tesis de doctorado en el marco del caso de presunto plagio cometido por el ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna. Indicó que la Universidad César Vallejo, tras estar involucrada en el caso de la tesis plagiada del mandatario, debería hacer una auditoria a todas sus 83 mil tesis para tener prestigio académico. Finalmente, comentó sobre el pliego interpelatorio que tuvo que responder el ministro del Interior, Alfonso Chávarry.
